I’m shooting my very first wedding today!! I’m super excited, but also pretty nervous. I’ll be shooting with a dear friend of mine, so surely that will ease my nerves and be a whole lot of fun!

hey friends! Just wanted to remind my followers that my photography blog has moved here, and I’ve been updating pretty regularly over the summer, so check it out!
So far this summer, I’ve added Mattie, Rachel, and Kaitlin, a group of girls who are all roommates, and soon I’ll post Lauren, their fourth roommate, and some group shots of these four lovely ladies!
I’ve also got some shots of Autumn, a lovely soon-to-be 14-year old who blows me away with her beauty, partially because I used to babysit her, and she can’t be this grown up yet! But she is, and she’s simply gorgeous. Stay tuned! :)

about time for an update, don’t you think? It’s only been about 3 months since I’ve posted anything… and I only took these about 8 months ago… yeah, it’s been busy around here.
Anyways, without further ado… Lizzie H.
AKA Princess, Meerkat, Cupcake, Muffin, the list goes on…. I’m known this little nightmare since day 1 of freshman volleyball. Boy, that was a delight… but meeting one of my lifelong friends was definitely worth it. We’ve been classmates, traveling companions, and partners in crime. We share too many inside jokes to even try to count. I don’t think I have a memory from high school that doesn’t include Miss Prissbutt. Some of our favorite things range from henna, dying our hair purple, vintage shopping, hats, Disney Princesses, traveling, eating chocolate icing straight out of the can, and general silliness to philosophical discussions about morals, religion, and life and hypothetical conversations about our futures. One thing is for sure - she knows how to make life interesting, and that’s one reason I am so blessed to have her as a friend (another bonus is that she is a very gorgeous and very willing model ;)) She and I live very far away from each other now, so I cherish all of our moments and memories together. These pictures were taken when she came to visit me one weekend over the summer.

I took these a few weeks ago and just now got around to sharing them, but these pictures commemorate Little P’s second birthday! He was a little grouchy the day of our shoot - he had been to the doctor and gotten shots that day, who wouldn’t be a little grumpy after that?? I know I always am… However, it was still a delightful afternoon, and we got some great Christmas-y shots!
His parents and I always marvel at his little serious face - that truly captures who he is. They say that he’s made that face since he was just a newborn, and it makes us wonder what kind of personality he will have in 20 years. It seems to be his typical expression - we love to try to figure out what he’s thinking about! He always seems to be pondering something :)
